The bunkable twin beds must feature Wedge Lock Spring Units without fascia rails, wooden headboards/footboards, and 16-gauge or better metal posts. Desks, nightstands, and chests must have high-pressure laminate tops with solid oak bullnose edges and ball-bearing drawer slides rated for 100 lbs with ¾ extension.

Execution must occur sequentially, floor-by-floor, beginning with Building 126, with work performed room-by-room only when students are physically absent. All work occurs during 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM CST, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The contractor must provide a single Point of Contact for project management, deliver 15-day advance notice prior to delivery and 24-hour notification before truck arrival. The contractor provides all labor, equipment, transportation, dumpsters, protective materials (floor runners, wall pads, door protectors), and site cleanup. A pre-installation walk-through with damage documentation and post-phase inspections are required, with the contractor bearing liability for any undocumented damage. All personnel require base access passes (submitted 10 days prior) and must wear identifiable company apparel or badges. Furniture warranty must cover at least one year from final Government acceptance, and the contractor must maintain protective measures along all transit pathways using only non-damaging attachment methods.
