About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details kitchen equipment replacement for Gordon Elementary School, a Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Americas Mid Atlantic District school. The requirement involves procuring and installing new, unused commercial food service equipment including general purpose food preparation, serving, and storage items. Key requirements include delivering equipment inside the school cafeteria, ensuring proper electrical and plumbing connections, and completing installation within specified timeframes.
The SOW mandates that all equipment must meet Green Guard Certification Standards, be certified for sanitation by ANSI-accredited programs, and have a 7-10 year warranty. Delivery and installation are restricted to normal school hours (0730-1600, Monday-Friday), with specific site survey, coordination, and access requirements. The contractor must protect school facilities during work, maintain a clean work environment, correct any damages at their expense, and complete a final walk-through and punch list inspection within ten working days of installation. The equipment will be installed at a school located on a military installation in North Carolina.
