STATEMENT OF WORK
Installation of Antennas Building 4901
1. PURPOSE: This statement of work defines the tasks required for removing UHF radio and support equipment from building 4012 and reinstalling the equipment into building 4901.
2. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, cables and supplies necessary to complete the requested work. Upon notification to proceed, the contractor shall coordinate installation/setup times with authorized Government personnel.
a. Provide and install one (1) Taco D2219 UHF/UHF/UHF antenna on existing 100 ft.
concrete pole at bldg. 4901.
b. Install one (1) Government-provided Taco D2213 VHF/UHF antenna and three Government-provided TELANT425F2, 380-470 mhz LMR antennas on same concrete pole at bldg. 4901.
c. Provide and install one (1) spare coaxial cable in same 100 ft. concrete pole. Cable shall be sufficient length to reach the highest antenna mounting positions and terminate inside the equipment room in bldg. 4901.
d. Remove one (1) MT-686-GR Rack/4-Post Cabinet, one GRC-171 UHF Transceiver, two control stations and associated equipment from bldg. 4012 Command Post and reinstall at new location in bldg. 4901.
3. SITE VISIT: Contractor must attend scheduled site visit prior to submitting a bid offering.
4. LOCATION: This work is to be accomplished on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Goldsboro, NC, at Buildings 4012 and 4901.
5. MATERIALS: The antenna (as specified in para. 2a), cables, attaching hardware and miscellaneous ancillary items shall be provided by contractor.
6. WARRANTY: The contractor shall provide a one-year warranty period on all workmanship.
The warranty period shall start when provided services and equipment have been accepted by authorized government personnel.
7. WORKMANSHIP: All workmanship will comply with standard trade practices. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, equipment, and services required to complete requested work.
8. CLEANUP: The contractor is responsible to return the work site to the condition in which it was found. If removal of equipment and/or material is necessary to perform, or required by this contract, the contractor shall be responsible for disposal and shall comply with all applicable industry rules and regulations. Government POC shall be notified prior to disposing of any government owned materials/equipment.
9. WORK HOURS: The contractor shall observe the same work hours of the 916th ARW Building 4901, 0730 to 1630 hours or make arrangement to deviate from this schedule.
However, work that will interfere with normal operations shall be pre-coordinated with affected agencies and accomplished during designated maintenance times.
