About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement and installation of new systems furniture in Room 2112B of the DeFlorez Building at Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida. The project is divided into two phases: Phase 1 requires the purchase, shipment, and storage of new systems furniture matching existing inventory, with completion required by March 30, 2026; Phase 2 involves transport and installation of the furniture to be fully operational by April 30, 2026. The contractor must coordinate all work with government representatives, maintain daily cleanup to minimize dust and noise, ensure all work complies with applicable federal, state, and local codes including Unified Facility Criteria, and provide three copies of submittals within seven calendar days of award including Safety Data Sheets, statements of non-use of ozone-depleting substances, accident prevention plans, work schedules, bonds and insurance documentation, worker information, and standard drawings in ACAD LT 2012 and PDF formats.
The SOW specifies comprehensive safety and regulatory requirements, including compliance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manuals and OSHA standards, with particular emphasis on electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures. Power deenergization requires at least two weeks' prior approval from the Contracting Officer, and no live electrical work is permitted. The contractor and all on-site personnel must demonstrate United States citizenship and may require security clearances for restricted areas. Regular working hours will be established by the Contracting Officer between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays, with no power disruptions allowed during normal working hours. Only Contracting Officer-approved materials and parts may be used, and all furniture must match existing systems. The related Intent to Sole Source notice indicates NAWCTSD intends to award to Kimball International (CAGE: 4V077), the original equipment manufacturer of the existing furniture system, with responses due by March 25, 2026.
