About this file

This Statement of Work outlines a snowplow driver training contract with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) for simulator-based instruction across two counties. The vendor is required to deliver three days of expert-led training at each of two locations—Richland County and Kershaw County, SC—utilizing a mobile training center to be positioned at SCDOT-provided facilities. The training will cover basic snowplow driving skills across various road and plowing conditions, with flexibility in truck configuration and specific scenarios. The program must accommodate a minimum of 16 participants per day across three days at each site, totaling 96 drivers over six training days. SCDOT retains responsibility for driver availability and scheduling. Training is scheduled for the weeks of November 16-20 and December 14-18, with specific dates to be determined and arranged expeditiously. The vendor must submit a Training Report upon completion that includes a full list of participating drivers.

The contract cost includes all incidentals associated with training program delivery. The solicitation contains a notice to bidders indicating that vendors who previously submitted pricing in response to an earlier SCDOT request for quote and can honor that pricing need not resubmit. No pricing terms, set-aside provisions, incumbent information, or funding source details are specified in the Statement of Work.
