STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System
LYNX Duress button network
At the new Tulsa VA Medical Center
GENERAL
PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE: Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System (EOVAHCS) requires a contractor to supply a LYNX duress button network to establish a panic button system at the Tulsa VA Medical Center. The contractor will be required to supply LYNX duress buttons in accordance with this statement of need and the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology, Infrastructure Standard for Telecommunications Spaces (ISTS), Version 4.0, in a cost effective, efficient, and safe manner, while in accordance with the VA Mission.
BACKGROUND: A facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is currently being renovated for the purpose of being used as the new Tulsa VA Medical Center (VAMC) in November of 2025. The facility will need LYNX duress buttons delivered as soon as possible after awarding. The facility is currently under the control of VHiT and the construction contractor remodeling the facility.
LOCATION: Deliver to Muskogee Warehouse, 1011 Honor Heights Dr, Muskogee, OK
PERFORMANCE PERIOD/DELIVERY TIMES: The VA requires delivery of the equipment between September 15th and November 15th.
The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, user manuals, and maintenance manuals for the specified equipment under this contract.
SCOPE: EOVAHCS requires a contractor to provide equipment that meets or exceeds the physical, functional, and performance the listed salient characteristics in the following sections. The equipment features are essential to the technical requirements to meet the department's needs.
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
Contractors are required to provide the following products, Brand Name or Equal, at the location outlined in this SOW.
Equipment: Brand Name (LYNX) or Equal
25 Each 950-LYNX-N-P2-M LYNX panic duress buttons HUB style button
• Direct connection to PoE network
• Monthly test mode
• Server supervision
WARRANTY OF EQUIPMENT: Government requirement for standard manufacturer industry warranty term. The government does not accept an extended warranty, which requires advance payment. The warranty is to begin on the date of delivery to the facility.
