About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a food and beverage snack bar concession operation, along with compensation terms. The concessionaire is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required permits and licenses, including ServSafe certification, business license, food handlers certificate, liquor licenses, and insurance. Operating hours must fall within the facility's hours of operation, and all renovations require prior written approval from NAFI (Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality). The concessionaire must utilize existing kitchen, bar, and cooking equipment documented through signed hand receipts (Appendix C), maintain and repair all equipment, manage inventory and revenue collection, order food and supplies, and handle all marketing and publicity requirements. Additional concessionaire responsibilities include purchasing their own point-of-sale system, credit card terminal, copier, printer, fax, scanner, internet service, safe, and bank account; maintaining a clean and safe environment; and restoring the space to its original condition upon contract completion.

NAFI's responsibilities are limited to providing a clean, well-lit operational area; ensuring existing equipment, furniture, and fixtures are functional and clean; disposing of unserviceable equipment; obtaining contractor badges for concessionaire staff; and providing emergency contact numbers for fire, police, hospital, and preventive health services. Compensation is structured as a flat monthly fee for snack bar operations, with pricing specified for a base year and four option years, though specific dollar amounts are not filled in within this draft document.
