About this file
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center to conduct market research for a Visual Threat Recognition and Avoidance Trainer (VRAT). The government is seeking information from small businesses, including 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns, to determine potential sources and the most appropriate acquisition strategy. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 513210 with a size standard of 1,000 employees.
Interested parties are requested to provide detailed information by August 10 at 11:59 pm MST, including company details, point of contact, experience with VRAT solutions, teaming arrangements, and specific questions about their relationship with BlackShark.AI. The government is exploring the feasibility of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract and seeks insights into potential contractors' capabilities, technical data rights, software development support, and familiarity with Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) for payment. Responses should be emailed to audrey.lee.3@us.af.mil and christa.phillips.1@us.af.mil, with the understanding that this is a market research effort and does not obligate the government to any financial compensation for the response.
