1. Background:
The Pentagon Force Protection Agency's (PFPA) mission is to provide force protection, Security, and law enforcement operations as required for the people, facilities, infrastructure, and other resources at the Pentagon Reservation and for DoW activities and DoW-occupied facilities not under the jurisdiction of a Military Department within the National Capital Region (NCR). The PFPA provides law enforcement, Security, emergency management support, and special event services for the
Pentagon, Pentagon Library Conference Center, Pentagon Police Headquarters, Raven Rock
Mountain Complex, and over one hundred leased facilities. Currently, PFPA maintains a working fleet of over 250 vehicles that are vital to the agency's mission. The Government projects that 20 to 30 vehicles will require full law enforcement installations per year, along with an additional 15 to 25 staff vehicles. Each law enforcement would require transportation from Belcamp, MD, to the contractor facility, and an additional trip from the contractor facility to the Pentagon in VA. If staff vehicles do not require any installs, then they will only need to be transported directly from Belcamp, MD, to the Pentagon. Every return vehicle (typically one-for-one)will require reverse trips every year.
2. Service Description:
