THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES/PROPOSALS
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY
This Sources Sought is for the purpose of identifying firms that can meet the following Bureau of Reclamation Requirements.
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin, has a requirement for the Middle Rio Grande (MRG) - Riprap Stockpile Supply for their Albuquerque Area Office (AAO). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 212319, Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying and the related small business size standard is 550 Employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 5610 Mineral Construction Materials, Bulk.
This Sources Sought is not to be considered as a request for proposals/quotations or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. This notice is a tool to identify small businesses for informational purposes only. Information obtained through this notice may be used to determine the potential for issuing a future solicitation for this project as a total small business set-aside, and to provide input for the Government’s overall acquisition strategy. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.
OBJECTIVE/DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This requirement is for a riprap supply contract that will furnish Reclamation with essential materials to support river‑maintenance responsibilities, including emergency protection of riverside structures and facilities. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and expertise necessary to furnish, haul, and stockpile various sizes of riprap at three designated sites identified in the Statement of Work. See attached Statement of Work for more information.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION:
After review of the attached documentation, interested parties may submit a response in an electronic format only via email to Savanna Manning at savanna_manning@ios.doi.gov no later than July 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM PST. Electronic files should be in Microsoft Office Word or PDF format. All information should be UNCLASSIFIED material only.
Respondents should include as part of their submission:
a. Firm’s name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, and SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number.
b. Business classification, to include size and any additional socioeconomic classification(s).
c. Brief capabilities statement that addresses experience performing similar projects as a prime contractor.
d. Provide details for three projects your firm has completed in the past three years that are similar to the work described in this notice. For each project, include the size, scope, contract value, and the percentage of work your firm performed. Keep your responses brief.
