About this file
This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the 6th Contracting Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, for market research purposes to identify contractors capable of providing holiday lighting installation services. The notice is not a solicitation for quotes and does not constitute a government commitment.
The Department of the Air Force seeks contractors to install and remove annual holiday lighting displays at MacDill AFB under NAICS Code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors). The requirement includes installation of C9 LEDs for roof lines and vertical runs of three buildings, 100-count commercial grade LED white lights, G30 lights with red and green alternating bulbs, extension cords, timers, and a 120-inch lighted Colorado Pine wreath. The period of performance is a base year from November 1, 2026, through January 2, 2027, plus four option years. Interested vendors must address three questions in a capability statement: confirmation of capability to provide all services in the draft Performance Work Statement, options for renting lighting annually versus purchasing for reuse, and company business size and socio-economic status (Small Business, SDVOSB, WOSB) under the applicable NAICS code, along with company name, address, UEI number, CAGE code, and point of contact information. Responses must be submitted via email to Victoria Ambrose, Saraetta Alexander, and Kareem Rose no later than Monday, September 21, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST.
