SOURCES SOUGHT – Heavy Scale Calibration Services at Travis AFB, CA

60th Contracting Squadron Travis AFB, CA Submitted 19 May 2025 Responses Due: 31 May 2025, 12:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time
REQUIREMENT
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the procedures and responsibilities for both the 60th Aerial Port Squadron (60 APS) and the vendor when the contract is awarded. Contractor shall provide all tools, weights, vehicles, and labor to calibrate 40 fixed scales located in several aerial port locations in and around Building 977, the Air Freight Terminal complex and one scale each at both the Passenger Terminal and Fleet Service warehouse. All work areas are located on Travis AFB, California. More Information can be referenced in the attached Statement of Work. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.

This Sources Sought is to determine the availability of businesses to include small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required services.
This Request for Information (RFI) Sources Sought does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue a future RFQ. This Sources Sought does not commit the Government to contract for any service. Further, the Air Force is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued.
RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE:
1. Business name and address
2. Name of company representative and their business title
3. Business Size and Type of Small Business (if applicable)
4. Cage Code
5. DUNS Number
6. Brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to perform the required services
Vendors who wish to respond to this should send responses via email no later than 31 May 2025 by 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time to SrA Joseph Restua-Perez at joseph.restua_perez@us.af.mil and Mr. Vitaliy Kim at vitaliy.kim.1@us.af.mil.
Questions regarding this announcement shall also be submitted by e-mail to the above two email addresses no later than 22 May 2025 at 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.
