Sources Sought
(1) Action Code : SOURCES SOUGHT
This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a request for proposal, but a survey to locate potential sources. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women- Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, & EDWOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate.

A. Objective:
To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation.
B. The Government requires a Portable Data Acquisition System Configuration that meets the following minimum specifications:
1. The Sampling Rate and Resolution shall have:
• Minimum 2,000,000 samples per second (2 MS/s) per channel, simultaneous across all active channels
• Minimum 24-bit analog-to-digital resolution per channel
2. The Analog Input Bandwidth shall have:
• Minimum analog input bandwidth of direct current (DC) to 2 megahertz (MHz)
• Must include a hardware anti-aliasing filter active at or below the Nyquist frequency
• Must support freely programmable digital low-pass and high-pass filters per channel
3. The Multi-Mode Input Flexibility (per channel, without hardware changes) shall:
Each channel must support all of the following measurement modes via software selection:
• Strain gauge bridge: full bridge, half bridge, and quarter bridge; compatible with
120 ohm (Ω), 350 Ω, and 1000 Ω gauges; sensitivity up to 1000 millivolt/Volt (mV/V)
• Voltage: DC and alternating current (AC) voltage input up to ±100 V
• Integrated electronics piezo-electric / integrated circuit piezo-electric
(IEPE/ICP): integrated electronics piezoelectric sensor support (for blast pressure and shock accelerometers)
• Charge input: direct charge measurement (via plug-in signal conditioner)
• Resistance: up to 30 kΩ
• Resistance temperature detector (RTD): resistive temperature device (e.g., Platinum 100 (Pt100), Pt1000, up to Pt2000)
• Thermocouple: standard thermocouple types
• Current: up to ±30 milliamp (mA) via internal shunt
4. Programmable Sensor Excitation shall have:
