About this file
This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Indian Health Service (IHS), Department of Health and Human Services, to conduct market research for a potential printer/scanner/copier procurement. The IHS is seeking to determine the availability of qualified sources under the Buy Indian Act and to identify whether a 100% set-aside for Small Business Indian Firms (ISBEE) or Small Business concerns can fulfill the requirement. The requirement consists of one printer/scanner/copier unit for the Mescalero Service Unit's DSFC and DEHS facilities, classified under NAICS Code 541519 (Other Computer Related Services), along with a base year contract plus three option years for extended warranty and maintenance services. The place of performance is the Mescalero Service Unit, Environmental Health Building, 436 Mescal Loop, Mescalero, NM 88340, with RFQ number 7571TE26Q00044.
Interested vendors must submit comprehensive responses including company name, point of contact information, SAM Unique Entity Identifier, tax ID, FSS/SEWP contract numbers if applicable, and a capability statement. Vendors seeking IEE or ISBEE status must complete the designated IHS Indian Economic Enterprise Representation form and identify the Federally Recognized Indian Tribe or Alaska Native Corporation supporting their eligibility claim. All responses must be sufficiently detailed to enable the government to assess vendor qualification and availability. Responses are being used to determine the final acquisition strategy, which may result in an Indian-Owned Enterprise set-aside, Total Small Business set-aside, another socioeconomic set-aside, or an unrestricted solicitation. The Point of Contact is Christopher Brown, Contract Specialist, at (301) 348-3495 or christopher.brown2@hhs.gov. This notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or government commitment.
