Sources Sought Notice – Sit to Stand Patient Lift
This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, Regional Procurement Office-West (RPOW) located in Duncanville, Texas. The VA is conducting market research to identify potential sources and establish procurement strategy for a future solicitation regarding Sit to Stand Patient Lift equipment. Responses must be submitted by 3:00 PM Central Time on Friday, October 2, 2026, to Lesley Kitchen at lesley.kitchen@va.gov. The notice emphasizes that the VA is particularly interested in identifying Small Business vendors capable of providing this service and that pricing information will influence whether the future solicitation is set-aside, sole-sourced, or unrestricted.
Interested vendors must provide business information including name, address, point of contact details, SAM UID Number, NAICS code, business size classification (Small or Large), business type (such as SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, or WOSB), and estimated market research pricing. Vendors with existing GSA or VA Federal Supply Schedule contracts should include those contract details. Vendors must also submit a letter confirming OEM authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller status if applicable. All eligible businesses are encouraged to respond, as this information will be used to determine potential set-asides for the requirement. The notice includes a disclaimer stating this is not a solicitation and responses do not constitute binding offers.
