A049702 - Clarifier Oil Water Separator

Notice Type: Sources Sought

1. Notice: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only

1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS is "333310”, "Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing " with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.

1.2 Below is a document containing a description of services requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company’s capability.

1.3 If the Government decides to conduct procurement as a result of the market research, a separate pre-solicitation synopsis of that procurement will be posted to SAM.gov. Interested companies are requested to submit a summary outline of their qualifications to conduct integrated water sediment removal services at Malmstrom AFB. References to vendor web pages will not be accepted.

1.4 Please note that we cannot return your submissions to you.

1.5 Small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research.

2. This request for Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or material. No contract award will be made as a result of this sources sought synopsis. This information is provided to the government at no cost.

REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION

3. Vendor must provide:

SPT-10-E - Clarifier Separator System or other government approve equal.

o 1-10 GPM Clarifier Separator with Electric Pump & Control, 120V o Approximate dimensions: 7’L x 2’6” W x 4’-10” H o 1-10 GPM Above Ground Clarifier Oil/Water Separator with Sludge Hopper o Stainless Steel Construction o 30-gallon on-board oil storage tank o Advanced coalescing media designed to remove oil droplets greater than 20 microns with a Reynolds Number of less than 500 to maintain laminar flow o Stainless Steel inclined plates to capture and contain settable solids o Solids storage area o Single adjustable rotatable pipe skimmers and 120V disk skimmer with timer o Neoprene gasketed removable vapor tight cover for access to chamber compartments o 2” Inlet/Outlet- FNPT Fitting and two (2) 2” Oil Outlet-FNPT Fitting o Two (2) 2” Vent NPT Fittings to vent unit outside, two (2) 2” Sludge drains and two (2) 1”

Drain NPT Fittings o Effluent compartment for pump out o (1) Electric 10 GPM Diaphragm Transfer Pump System with Electric Controller o Gravity drain

Corrosion Protection Package o Separator Interior lined with Tnemec 61, 8-10 mils
