STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT

Kitchen Exhaust Hood

633d Force Support Squadron Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA

1.0 OBJECTIVE. Procurement of commercial-grade kitchen exhaust hood for the Child Development Center located in Facility 61 on Joint Base Langley Eustis, Hampton VA, 23665.

2.0 SCOPE.

2.1 This requirement is for procuring a commercial-grade kitchen exhaust hood for use within the newly renovated Child Development Center in Facility 61. To ensure compatibility, we require that products meet the specifications listed below, either through the suggested manufacturer or equal. The procuring contractor shall only be responsible for purchase and delivery to the facility.

Kitchen Exhaust Hood: As a part of the full facility renovation and design project, a completed kitchen layout with recommended manufacturers has been compiled. A copy of the designed kitchen layout and spec sheet is attached. The hood should be approximately 10’ 2” in length. The rooftop fan package is already installed in the facility. Fan controls will be required with the hood. The procuring Contractor shall verify all dimensions in the field. Please see section 4.0 for desired quantities.

a. The recommended manufacturer for this product is Captive Aire, or equal. The following model number has been used as the basis of design:

i. ND-2

b. The Contractor shall provide a Captive Aire, or equal, hood package that includes the following components:

i. Utility Cabinet

ii. Front Perforated Supply Plenum

iii. Enclosure Panels

iv. End Panels

v. UL 300 Fire Suppression System

vi. Lighting

3.0 SECURITY.

3.1. The 633d FSS does not have any applicable security considerations for this purchase.

4.0 MATERIALS.

4.1 The contractor shall procure and deliver the following items:
