Question and Answer Pool Contract Opportunity – 633d FSS Kitchen Exhaust Hood Current as of 8 May 2025

All answers should reflect in the Statement of Work (SOW).

1. Is a Stainless Steel Back Splash required as a part of the hood package? If so, what is the size required?

Answer: Backsplash shall be required. Assuming an installation elevation of 6’6” (or based upon manufacturers recommendation) the backsplash shall measure the length of the hood and run down to an elevation of 18” above finished floor elevation.

2. Can you verify the fan size, make, model, and if a VFD is required?

Answer: Fan is 1200 CFM, Greenheck CUE-120-A. No VFD is required. 1725 RPM 115v/60hz/single phase.
