Price increases are capped at 4 percent per renewal period and must be based on the percent change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers—Philadelphia (All Items) as published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, using the Mid-Atlantic CPI Announcement for December of the applicable renewal year. Failure to submit notice within the thirty-day timeframe or if the letter is not received before the last day of the contract period will result in prices remaining unchanged from the previous period.
