About this file
This Statement of Objectives (SOO) details a lodging procurement for the Virginia Air National Guard (VaANG) 192d Wing, seeking hotel rooms and team houses near Naval Air Station Key West, Florida. The solicitation (W50S9B25Q0007) is a 100% small business set-aside for lodging services from 20-26 April 2025, with a response deadline of 27 March 2025 at 3:00 PM EST. Specific requirements include private, entire houses or hotel rooms within 15-35 miles of the main location, preferably 3-4 star rated, with kitchen facilities, and meeting Department of Defense Lodging Adequacy standards.
Key operational parameters mandate lodging in specific Florida Keys areas (Key West, Boca Chica Key, Saddlecunch Key, Sugarloaf, Summerland, Middle Torch, Big Pine Key), with strict security requirements including controlled access, no ground floor rooms, adequate lighting, and locations in low-crime areas. Lodging rates are capped at fiscal year 2025 GSA per diem rates, with flexible cancellation policies allowing government cancellation up to 7-14 days prior to check-in. The solicitation emphasizes safety, force protection, and a zero-tolerance policy against human trafficking, with the contracting office reserved the right to disqualify properties not meeting security standards.
