Additional Information/Notes
TOTALS
Total of all CLINs (0001 through 0003) ___________________________________________
NOTES TO BIDDERS:
NOTE 1: Bidders must bid on all items. Failure to bid on all work will be cause for rejection of the bid as nonresponsive.
NOTE 2: Award of contract will be based on the responsible and responsive bidder with the lowest total price for the total of the CLINs 0001 through 0003.
NOTE 3: The unit prices for CLINs 0002 and 0003 represent the cost per cubic yard for the removal of the estimated quantities of dredged material (all material except ledge rock lying above the planes of -6 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) respectively, plus 2 foot allowable overdepth), in the Basic Work (Dredging Areas of CLINs 0002 through 0003) contract areas of LIIW at Bellport Bay and Moriches Bay. The dredged material from CLINs 0002 and 0003 must subsequently be dredged and placed at the designated placement site of each CLIN.
NOTE 4: All bidders are hereby advised that the estimated dredge quantities for placement in the price schedule are estimated and based on the survey data collected on 14-17 April 2025 and the survey data collected on 7, 8 May 2025.
NOTE 5: The Government may reject a bid as non-responsive if the prices bid are materially unbalanced between line items and if there is a reasonable doubt that the bid will result in the lowest overall cost to the Government even though it may be the low bid.
NOTE 6: Bidders are reminded that they must bid on the issued plans and specifications as amended. Any deviations, conditions or attachments made by the bidder himself may render the proposal non-responsive and may be cause for its rejection.
NOTE 7: It is the contractor's responsibility to comply with all conditions and requirements of the placement site(s).
NOTE 8: The Contractor shall be required to (i) commence work under this contract within five (5) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, (ii) prosecute the work diligently, and (iii) complete the entire work (Basic) ready for use, not later than 55 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. (FAR 52.212-3).
