15 Severability If any term of this contract is determined, to any extent, to be invalid or unenforceable, the parties intend that the remainder of this contract not be affected, and each remaining term of this contract be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any invalid or unenforceable term is to be replaced by a mutually acceptable term which, being valid and enforceable, comes closest to the intention of the parties underlying the invalid or unenforceable term. 16 Waiver The failure of either party to enforce any term of this contract does not constitute a waiver by that party of that or any other term.
17 Amendment This contract may not be supplemented, extended, or amended, in any manner whatsoever, except by written instrument signed by the parties.
18 No Third-Party Beneficiaries SAIF and Contractor are the only parties to this contract and the only persons who may enforce this contract. Health and Safety Protocol
Esteemed SAIF vendors and business partners:
As COVID-19 continues to affect our daily lives, SAIF extends its deepest sympathies to anyone who the virus has impacted negatively, either directly or indirectly. Along these lines, as a leader in Oregon Workers’ Compensation Insurance, SAIF strives to protect the health and safety of our employees, policyholders, and business partners. SAIF is proud of the steps we have taken to protect one another and our customers from
COVID-19 exposure. Unfortunately, it remains a top priority that these efforts continue.
Following updated CDC recommendations on protection from respiratory viruses, it is paramount that SAIF vendors and business partners do not visit SAIF facilities if you or an employee are feeling ill, exhibiting symptoms from common respiratory illnesses similar to COVID-19, the flu, or RSV, or have recently tested positive for any of these viruses. Likewise, if you or one of your employees has tested positive for any of these viruses after a recent in-person visit to SAIF facilities or with SAIF employees, it is essential that you immediately notify SAIF of the positive result so that we can take the necessary precautions to avoid further spread. Thank you for your concern and cooperation. By working together, we can help diminish the spread of respiratory viruses and limit the deleterious effects of its associated symptoms and illness. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. SAIF greatly appreciates your services and cooperation.
