About this file
This is a federal solicitation (Request for Quote) for Beeson Fences at Kadena Air Base, Japan, issued by the Department of the Air Force's 18th Cons PK unit. The solicitation (FA527025Q0039) seeks fence repair services using a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedure, with a firm-fixed-price contract mechanism. The project requires completion within 113 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed, with a site visit scheduled for 18 August 2025 at 0900 hours at Kadena Gate 2.
Key submission details include electronic quote submission via email or DOD SAFE by 08 August 2025 at 0400 PM local time, with quotes required in two volumes: Volume 1 containing pricing and Volume 2 containing technical evaluation factors. The contract will be awarded without discussions, meaning offerors must provide their best terms initially. The solicitation includes multiple attachments such as a site map, ACM test results for concrete posts, and historical as-built drawings to support the fence repair project. Quotes will be evaluated on an acceptable/unacceptable basis, with past performance only checked for active exclusions in sam.gov.
