About this file

This is a solicitation (Request for Proposal) for Washer and Dryer Services for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. The contract (FA448425R0019) seeks a contractor to provide, install, maintain, relocate, and remove coin-free washers and dryers on a rental basis at Dix Annex, New Jersey. The solicitation covers a base year from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027, with four one-year option periods extending through May 31, 2031, and a potential six-month extension.

The procurement is a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside with a total estimated value of $47,000,000. The contractor must supply new ENERGY STAR rated heavy-duty commercial washers and dryers designed for high usage, maintaining them free of rust, dents, stains, and excessive scratches. The contract includes multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) for standard washers, standard dryers, stackable dryers, and equipment relocation, with specific quantities for each type: 6,252 standard washers, 1,560 standard dryers, 3,024 stackable dryers, and 60 relocations per performance period. Proposals are due by September 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with past performance being significantly more important than price in the evaluation criteria.
