Specifically, any proposed component or equipment with the potential to connect to the base network must be successfully vetted through the Wing Cyber Security office in accordance with the DISA-Approved Products List (APL). To facilitate this mandatory security evaluation, vendors must explicitly provide the manufacturer name, make, model and part numbers for all proposed hardware within their quote. Failure to provide this information or proposing equipment that is not listed on or cannot be validated against the DISA APL, will result in the vendor's quote being deemed technically unacceptable and excluded from award consideration.
Issuing a written notice of award or acceptance to the successful vendor within the specified acceptance period outlined in the quote will establish a legally binding contract without requiring additional steps from either party. The Government reserves the right to accept a quote (or part of a quote) before the vendor's specified expiration time, even if negotiations occur after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received prior to award.
