About this file

This document is a solicitation addendum for a contract opportunity from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for back-up document shredding services for the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The addendum clarifies that bidders may bid on specific counties, confirms there are two incumbent providers, and states that subcontractors are allowed with prior approval. The contract will be awarded to multiple vendors to provide off-site or on-site document destruction shredding services on an as-needed basis when the statewide contractor is unable to provide the required services. The solicitation number is 6100058917, and the due date is August 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm ET.

The solicitation indicates that the shredding volume and frequency will be identified in the Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the requesting DLI office, which will vary across the Department's program areas. The awarded vendor will supply their own bins, and no unlocking of incumbent bins is required. The detailed scope of work and any other required bid documents are attached to the solicitation in the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system. DGS Certified Small Businesses are encouraged to bid on this opportunity.
