About this file

This document is a sole source justification for a federal contract. The Defense Health Agency, Contracting Office - San Diego Contracting Division is seeking approval for a sole source contract with Calibrations Incorporated to provide calibration and maintenance services for industrial hygiene equipment at Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Branch Health Clinic Atsugi, Branch Health Clinic Iwakuni, and Branch Health Clinic Sasebo in Japan. The services include annual calibration of air sampling pumps, noise dosimeters, chemical cartridges, and other occupational health and safety devices to ensure they meet requirements for protecting worker health as outlined in Navy instructions and manuals. Calibrations Incorporated is deemed the only responsible source able to provide the services due to its accreditation, experience calibrating the specified equipment, and ability to ship items to the locations in Japan. The anticipated cost is determined fair and reasonable based on price analysis.
