ATTACHMENT J.9 - GUIDANCE IN DEVELOPING A SECURITY PLAN

Usually security plans are based on a security assessment which identifies; credible threats, existing vulnerabilities and provides a mitigation strategy.

Some of the components of a security plan can include, but not limited to:

Flow chart of security and company personnel Communications Access control, ID badging & key control Operating at different threat levels Standard operating policies & procedures Training, drills & exercises Restricted and controlled areas Monitoring & intrusion detection equipment (i.e., CCTV…) Lighting & emergency power Diagram of the facility ANNEX or Addendums with other SOPs, Contingency and/or Emergency Plans

It is the Offeror’s responsibility to choose what assessment methodology and type of guidelines it will follow in the development of its security plan
