About this file
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Bureau of Reclamation for the Keno and Link Log Boom Replacement project. The solicitation seeks the procurement of two HDPE log booms: a 700-foot boom for Keno Dam and a 460-foot boom for Link River Dam. The procurement is set aside 100% for small businesses, with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 326199 and a size standard of 750 employees.
The project requires high-quality log booms with specific technical specifications, including a chemically resistant polyethylene outer shell stabilized with UV inhibitors, an unsinkable solid internal foam core, 16-20 inch diameter, yellow color, and 10-20 foot tubular sections. Quotes are due by June 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time, with a performance period from July 31, 2025, to August 31, 2025. The booms will be delivered to the Klamath Basin Area Office in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The government will evaluate quotes based on price reasonableness and technical acceptability, with award going to the technically acceptable quote with the lowest price.
