Amendment # 3

The purpose of this amendment is to:

1. Due to the shutdown/close of the Embassy, the closing date of the solicitation has been extended till August 12th @ 14:00. No proposals will be accepted after that date/time.

2. Include painter helper “Minimum Requirements for Personnel” to Exhibit 8

· DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Paints and redecorates walls, woodwork and fixtures.

· SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for different applications; placing putty or filler in nail holes and interstices; and applying paint with spray gun or brush. May mix colors, oils, and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color consistency.

· EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must have completed a formal apprenticeship program or have a minimum of 3 years of experience.

3. Replace Paragraph C.1.2 “ENGLISH SPEAKING REPRESENTATIVE” with the following Paragraph:

The contractor shall designate an English speaking representative who shall supervise the contractor's workforce and be the contractor's liaison with the Government.

If work to be performed inside the Embassy, the designated representative shall be located on site only while performing contractual duties and not for any other business or purposes. Therefore, no office is required. However, the designated representative will have to be available in the Office Space Management area, which will be provided by the contractor during normal working hours (see Section F.8) and shall have supervision as his/her sole function while on duty. The contractor's employees shall be on site only for contractual duties and not for any other business or purposes.
