About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for a surveillance system project involving Buildings 750 and 751. The project involves a stand-alone surveillance system with a combination of interior and exterior cameras, three monitor locations, and three floors per building. Key details include mandatory site visit attendance, pending submission of prints/drawings, and a solicitation close date of 9/5/2025. The system requires POE+ network switches, and contractors will need to establish camera connectivity between the two buildings to enable viewing from the office. Cabling pathways are currently limited, with draw strings available in some areas, and no existing cabling infrastructure. The project may require an RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) to ensure standards compliance and facilitate review by the Information Security Officer prior to deployment and installation.
