About this file

The document is a site visit map and instructions for a Non-Time Critical Removal Action (NTCRA) at Pinhook Bog in Indiana Dunes National Park. The site visit is scheduled for the morning of 7/23/25, with participants meeting at the Pinhook Bog Trailhead Parking Lot at 957 N. Wozniak Road in La Porte, IN. Attendees will carpool to a pullout with limited parking and hike 1.5 miles from the west to the east side of the project area, anticipating wet and muddy conditions.

The map provides GPS coordinates and a satellite view of the site, with markers indicating the beginning and end points of the site visit. Participants are advised to bring sunscreen, water, insect repellent, and hiking boots due to uneven terrain. The National Park Service will shuttle contractors back to the trailhead parking lot, and due to limited vehicle capacity, only one participant per contractor is encouraged.
