About this file
This document provides site visit instructions and details for a federal contract opportunity with the Department of Veterans Affairs to replace the HVAC system at Building 182 of the Eugene J. Towbin Veterans Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The site visit is scheduled for July 21, 2022 at 8:30am Central Time and will meet at the building's loading dock. The opportunity involves replacing the existing split system with a new exterior gas package unit, new ductwork, ceiling, electrical, and mechanical room construction, as well as a new gas line connection. The justification provided is that the current air handling unit has exceeded its life cycle and failed to meet the cooling needs of the mailroom and logistics warehouse personnel occupying the spaces. The contractor must complete the work during normal business hours within 90 days.
