About this file

The document is a Dress Code policy for the Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center. The dress code provides strict guidelines for appropriate attire when visiting or working at the hospital, with explicit prohibitions on certain types of clothing and footwear. The policy emphasizes professional and safety-oriented dress standards, outlining specific restrictions on clothing styles, materials, and designs.

The dress code mandates that all clothing must be free of offensive or political statements, and prohibits camouflage prints, hooded shirts/jackets, and provocative or revealing attire. Specific clothing items banned include mini-skirts, low-cut tops, skintight clothing with high percentages of Spandex or Lycra, leggings, tights, and spandex as outer clothing. Footwear requirements stipulate that shoes must provide safe, secure footing with protection against hazards, explicitly prohibiting open-toe shoes, sandals, clogs, and slippers. The policy concludes with a clear warning that non-adherence will result in being turned away from the hospital.
