Text version

Block 13 of the SF 1442 says that a bid bond is required; however, the estimated project magnitude is less than $25,000. Can you please confirm that we do not need to submit a bid bond with our proposal?

Bid Bonds are not required.

Section G shows that we need to provide a signed and dated resume for the Project Manager and Geotechnical Engineer; however, Section M does not require signature or dates on resumes. Can you please confirm that signed and dated resumes are only required after contract award?

Signed and dated Resumes are required with your proposal.

Page 28 of 30 of the RFP states that the contractor must have 7 years of experience; however, then goes on to say that projects need to have been completed in the last 3 years for evaluation. Can you please confirm that we can submit projects successfully completed within the past 7 years in our proposal?

Yes, projects that were successfully completed within the past 7 years can be submitted for past performance.

Since geotechnical engineering/design work is a specialized scope, can you please confirm that we are allowed to use Key Subcontractor experience for Past Performance and that it will be rated equally to the Prime Offeror’s experience?

Geotechnical engineering/design work past performance can be submitted as key subcontractor and will be rated equally to prime experience.
