AMD 01 - SICG011-22 – ATTACHMENT 01
1. What are the Design Requirements of this project? What design submittals will be required? A plan view of your proposed build drawings would be required, illustrating the location of all proposed permanent features including dimensions of the space. Post-construction, as-built drawings would be required to illustrate any deviations from the build drawings, of the same quality.
2. Can we get a clarification on the Deck Height of the Room? It was mentioned that the height was over 14ft, but the specs said 12 ft. The deck height appears to be closer to 15’ rather than 12’.
3. Clarification on Door Requirements. Specs call for a solid wood door. All doors in building are metal. Please confirm what type of door is preferred.
Section 3.1 Requirement
Change to:
H) Office door – Office door shall be a 3’ x 7’ metal door and frame, conforming to Sound Group 4 – STC 50 or better with a knock down metal jamb. The door jamb shall be filled will acoustical sealant for sound transmission. The door shall be sealed on all sides with sound deadening strips. Standard locking door lever handle shall be installed. A continuous bead of acoustical sealant shall be applied between the floor and low profile threshold.
4. Can the Site Superintendent also perform the duties of quality control and site safety? Due to the scope & size of the project, the superintendent or their qualified designee would be permitted to serve in all roles.
5. The solicitation indicates that the proposal due date is Friday July 28th, however July 28th is a Thursday. Could you please clarify proposal due date? Thursday July 28, 2022 @ 2:00 PM EST.
6. The SF 1449 of this solicitation states that this is an 8(a) set-aside. However, the listing on SAM.gov shows it as a “Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5),” and Solicitation page 2/55 states that “the solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business.” 100% Set Aside for Small Business.
Additional Change to SOW:

It shall be constructed as close as practical as not to conflict, nor cause interference with the bus bar. The 2 new walls shall consist of 3 5/8” metal studs at 16” O.C., single layer 5/8” gypsum board on the outside, double layer 5/8” gypsum board on the inside of the new office.
