About this file

This document provides shipping instructions for contractors delivering items to Charleston Transportation Office, with ultimate destination to Honduras. Contractors must use the specified SHIP TO and MARK FOR addresses on all shipping labels and container exteriors to avoid processing delays and return of freight at contractor expense. All freight destined for Honduras requires freight clearance authorization obtained in advance; shipments lacking proper documentation and shipping labels will be rejected at the in-transit address and returned freight collect at contractor expense.

For hazardous materials shipments and freight clearance assistance, contractors must contact their local Defense Contract Management Command (DCMC) office or USARSO G-4 at (210)295-6729, 6153, or 6719. TCN (Transportation Control Number) labeling requirements vary based on shipment quantity: single shipments must end in XXX, first shipments of multiple deliveries must end in XAX, second shipments in XBX, and so forth. The document references DD Form 1387 for download and provides the current URL for obtaining this required federal form.
