About this file
The file is a Strategic Product Roadmap PowerPoint for the Space Electromagnetic Warfare Operating Location (SEWOL) tactical command and control system developed by the U.S. Space Force. SEWOL is designed to enable automated, remote operations of counter-satellite communications (counter-SATCOM) systems across the Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) enterprise, with a vision to reduce operational resource requirements and provide global, resilient capabilities. The roadmap outlines a phased development approach with Block 0 planned for early 2024 and Block 1 for 2025, focusing on integrating Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) weapon systems like the Remote Modular Terminal (RMT), Bounty Hunter, and Counter Communications System (CCS) Meadowlands.
Key technical objectives include developing a cloud-hosted, modular system with remote operations capabilities, creating decision support tools, implementing enterprise-level command and control infrastructure, and reducing system footprint by 90% compared to current systems. The program involves multiple Space Electronic Warfare Squadrons across Space Delta 3 and will transition to Space and Missile Systems Center (SSC) in Fiscal Year 2025. Strategic roadmap capabilities include automated operational planning, tactical battle orchestration, schedule improvements, contingency planning, cross-domain operations, and multi-combatant command support, with an emphasis on integrating various SEW systems and enhancing space superiority capabilities.

Space Electromagnetic Warfare Operating Location (SEWOL) Strategic Product Roadmap DENNIS SIEBER, Maj, USSF SEWOL Program Manager SSC/SZWC, Los Angeles AFB, CA
UNCLASSIFIED
SEWOL Vision SEWOL is a tactical C2 system Designed to enable automation and augment human operations of remotely operatable counter satcom SEW systems Examples: Match available SEW capabilities to tasking; schedule SEW system tasks, maintenance, and probing effects SEW operators to be able to effectively operate a globally proliferated, resilient, scalable architecture A modular, cloud-hosted system to enable remote operations and real-time decision making across the Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) enterprise SEWOL to integrate the full counter-SATCOM EMSO C2 warfighter capability with fewer resources Unlike the current paradigm that requires a large crew to control a collocated system
Operational Mission/Context
Space Dominance 2030 OV-1
| SEW is the only Offensive Space Control capability in Ops today but requires | continual enhancements to counter adversary’s growing use of SATCOM |
| Strategy enables flexibility to adapt to changes in adversary’s capabilities and | agility to respond to the needs of Operational Users |
| Space Delta 3, 4th EWS (AD COS), 76th EWS (AD HI), 114th EWS (ANG FL), 138th | EWS (ANG CO), 216th EWS (ANG CA), 293rd EWS (ANG HI) |
SEWOL is an essential element of the USSF Space Superiority enterprise, providing incremental delivery of worldwide SEW C2 capabilities
