About this file

This document is a specification sheet for a state contract opportunity issued by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to solicit quotes for eighteen (18) White Seismology Mini Seis III Pro seismographs. The requirements include three seismic channels and one acoustic channel with options for additional channels, as well as specific performance specifications for seismic and acoustic ranges, frequencies, and accuracies as per the ISEE Seismograph Performance Specifications for Blasting Seismographs 2017 Edition. The seismographs must also have capabilities for timer, communications, data storage, operating modes, and data reporting. Additionally, the units must have the capability for remote wireless reporting as a future option, and include a protective case that fits into a Pelican Storm Case Model iM2600.

The specification sheet also outlines other requirements, such as shipping costs to be included with the bid, the product must be new and unused, vendor to provide training on equipment operation and maintenance upon delivery, and the vendor shall provide two (2) copies of operator and maintenance manuals upon delivery. No information is provided regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or any other salient information.
