About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for the Sedgwick Well Drilling project (Project #22137) issued by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), dated 07/25/2024. The addendum provides critical details for a well drilling project, including electronic bid submission requirements through CDOT's Procurement Website (BidNet) with electronic bids due on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The project involves drilling a water supply well with specific requirements: a desired flow rate of 65 GPM, 45 PSI building pressure, a pressure switch system, an underground pressure tank, PVC screen, and three-phase power. CDOT has provided three nearby well logs to assist bidders and clarified that the contractor must develop a well plan complying with Colorado Division of Water Resources requirements.
The addendum includes several important contractual notes for potential bidders, such as the requirement of a Bid Bond (as the project exceeds $50,000), Performance Bonds, and Labor and Material bonds (as the estimated project cost exceeds $150,000). State Prevailing Wages are mandatory, and contractors must provide a Wage Compliance Form with each pay application. Contractors are advised to ensure all subcontractors and suppliers receive copies of the addendum and acknowledge its receipt on the Bid Form. The project's General Conditions are available on the electronic bid system, and while Certified Payroll reporting is not required, compliance with Prevailing Wage requirements is mandatory.
