About this file

This document provides technical specifications for a transformer to be supplied for the Old Hickory Power Plant. The transformer must be rated for 161kV and 13.2kV, with high voltage windings in a wye configuration and low voltage windings in a delta configuration. Impedance and tap requirements are specified. Maximum losses, sound level, and weight are provided. Structural design criteria and seismic calculations must be submitted. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the US Army Corps of Engineers seeking a transformer meeting the technical specifications for the Old Hickory Power Plant. Through amendment 0002, questions and answers are posted, as well as presentation materials from a pre-proposal site visit. The response due date is extended to May 22, 2020.
