About this file
The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Dry Cleaning Services at the U.S. Embassy in Brazil. The objective is to provide safe and secure housing that meets the personal and professional requirements of U.S. Government employees, which may require the cleaning of furniture during the "make ready" process prior to new residents moving in. The SOW outlines the scope of work, including the company's ability to provide dry cleaning services within one business day, at either the Embassy or employee residences, while utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. The SOW lists the specific items that may require dry cleaning, such as sofas, chairs, rugs, and mattresses, as well as linens and towels. It also provides an estimated monthly and annual volume of dry cleaning services required across different furniture and linen items. The service hours are limited to weekdays, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between 8 am and 12 pm, as well as 1 pm and 5 pm, with a minimum 24-hour advance notice required for scheduling.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for an IDIQ contract for Dry Cleaning Services at the U.S. Embassy in Brasilia. The RFQ is due on June 13th, 2024, and the U.S. Government intends to award a contract or purchase order to the responsible company submitting the lowest acceptable price. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting their proposal.
