Scope of Work Summary

This Scope of Work document outlines the installation requirements for the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Bureau's Ubiquiti security camera and network system project at three radio communications sites in San Mateo County, California. The project encompasses the installation of approximately 21-27 Ubiquiti security cameras (7-9 per site) along with associated network equipment including Cloud Gateway Industrial units, Network Video Recorder Pro units, PoE network switches, cellular WAN failover devices, temperature/humidity sensors, and 6U toolless racks at each location. The contractor is responsible for furnishing and installing all labor, materials, equipment, network cabling (CAT 6 weather-rated for exterior installations), conduit and fittings, camera mounting hardware, weatherproofing materials, cable management hardware, and miscellaneous installation consumables necessary to complete a fully operational system. Installation work includes equipment assembly and rack mounting, network cabling and termination, conduit installation and weatherproofing of all penetrations, camera positioning and alignment, equipment configuration and adoption into the Ubiquiti network infrastructure, comprehensive system testing and commissioning, and permanent labeling of all cameras, cables, and equipment across all three sites.

The contract requires the contractor to provide a complete, professional installation with all equipment and materials included in the pricing, with no additional compensation due for ordinary installation materials or incidental work necessary to complete the scope. The contractor must inspect all owner-furnished Ubiquiti equipment upon receipt and report any damage or missing components prior to installation. Final acceptance requires all designated cameras installed and operational, all network equipment functioning properly, comprehensive testing and verification of video transmission and recording capabilities, cellular failover functionality verification where service is available, proper weatherproofing of all contractor-created penetrations, and removal of all installation debris, with the contractor responsible for correcting any installation-related deficiencies identified during testing. The project timeline and award dates are not specified in this scope of work document.
