About this file
This is a Scope of Work document from the City of Branson, Missouri, soliciting bids for a HVAC replacement project at Branson City Hall. The project involves providing and installing three rooftop HVAC units (RTUs 2, 3, and 4), specifically seeking Aaon units or approved equivalents. The contractor will be responsible for removing existing equipment, installing new units on prepared curbs, connecting electrical and network systems, performing startup and verification, and ensuring proper operation. The scope includes comprehensive installation services such as crane procurement, electrical and duct modifications, condensate drain connections, and complete site cleanup.
The pricing structure requires bidders to provide itemized costs for the HVAC units, warranty, additional equipment/accessories, and installation costs, with a total price submission. The payment schedule is structured as 50% due at order and 50% due upon completion of installation. The contract includes a five-year warranty on materials and equipment, and a one-year warranty on workmanship. Nonperformance penalties are set at $100 per day for incomplete services, with potential contract cancellation for repeated failures. A City of Branson building permit will be required, though the permit fee will be waived. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the site and schedule a site visit with the Parks and Recreation Director prior to submitting their proposal.
