About this file
This document is a Scope Clarifications document for the Rockwell Hall Courtyard Landscaping project at Colorado State University (CSU). The project involves landscaping and irrigation work, with specific requirements for bidders including importing soil for new planting areas, removing existing plantings, and preparing landscape zones. Work hours are restricted to 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and the contractor will be responsible for permits, traffic control, and potential lane closures on Laurel Street.
Key technical specifications include using existing sleeves for new main line installations, installing new sleeves as needed, and ensuring protection of existing exterior paving, turf, and landscaping. The contractor must repair any construction-related damage and will work within a tunnel enclosure provided by CSU. Additional notable requirements include disregarding certain pot irrigation details, understanding existing paving may vary between 4-6 inches, and removing existing plantings and furniture (which will be replaced by the owner). The contractor will also be responsible for cleaning any equipment-related black marks on surfaces and managing all landscape demolition and infill work.
