About this file
This is a School Insurance document related to the City of Meriden's procurement for police vehicles and up-fitting services in Connecticut. The document appears to provide insurance coverage information and requirements applicable to contractors bidding on the City of Meriden's police vehicle acquisition project, which involves the purchase of seven Ford Interceptor Utility Model vehicles (four patrol units, two supervisor units, and one administrative unit) in all-wheel drive configuration, including complete up-fitting to operational specifications.
The insurance document establishes mandatory coverage requirements that bidders and contractors must maintain throughout the contract performance period. These requirements typically include general liability, vehicle liability, workers' compensation, and other protective coverages designed to protect the City of Meriden from financial exposure and ensure contractor accountability. The specific coverage limits, policy terms, and insurance conditions outlined in this document are binding obligations for any contractor awarded the vehicle purchase and up-fitting contract, and failure to maintain required insurance could result in contract suspension or termination.
