Statement of Work Sample Delivery Order – Manufacturing and Machining Support

1. Introduction

1.1. Background: The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) has been tasked to provide various machined items to support a wide variety of naval maintenance, overhaul and modernization projects. Delivery Orders placed against this Contract will assist PNS’ mission to support those programs.

1.2. Scope: The purpose of this sample delivery order is to evaluate Offeror’s proposals under

Factor 1, Technical Capability, and Factor 3, Price, under Solicitation No. N39040‐20‐R‐0007

(referred to as “contract” hereafter). The Government will not award this sample delivery order.

1.3. Place of Performance: All services are to be performed at the contractor’s facility.

2. Contractor Requirements

2.1. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non‐personal services necessary to perform machining services as defined in this Statement of Work except for those items specified in paragraph 3 as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this sample delivery order and the contract.

3. Government Furnished Property and Services

3.1. Government Furnished Specifications, Drawings and Data. The Government will furnish the drawings listed in this sample delivery order. Offerors shall obtain additional information from the sources identified in the Contract. See FAR 52.212‐1(i) and NAVSEA c‐245‐H005(c). Offerors shall handle this information in accordance with the standards in the Contract.

3.2. Government Furnished Material. The Government will provide the materials from which offerors shall manufacture the parts listed in this sample delivery order.

3.3. Transportation. The Government will transport the GFM to the contractor’s facility at the

Government’s expense. The Offerors shall deliver the finished products to the Government’s facility at the Offeror’s expense.

4. Deliverable products and services

4.1. The contractor shall provide the following:
