The final contract amount is to be determined based on the contractor's unit prices applied to actual quantities of work performed, adjusted for any approved change orders. The contractor faces liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day for failure to complete the work by the contract completion date. The contractor must pay or secure all applicable state and local taxes, excises, and license fees, providing written affidavit with the final payment request and obtaining a Public Works Tax Release from the Idaho Tax Commission as a condition of final payment. Both performance bond and labor and material payment bonds equal to the full contract price are required.
