About this file
This document is a Sources Sought Notice from the 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, seeking market research for two distinct requirements. The first involves replacing presentation equipment at Maxwell Events Center, while the second focuses on monitoring, inspection, maintenance, and repair services for a government-owned card access system at Gunter Annex. The card access system was originally installed by Advantor Systems, which currently serves as the sole source for system components and software.
The sources sought notice requests detailed information from potential vendors, including company details, business size, NAICS codes, and capabilities for providing replacement parts and services. Responses are due by close of business on Thursday, 5 June 2025, and should be submitted via email to specified Air Force contracting personnel. The notice emphasizes that this is not a solicitation and no contract will be awarded based on the responses. Notably, the related federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number: F2X0A45093AW01) involves a Wireless Duress Notifier System for Building 40 at Maxwell AFB, which must integrate seamlessly with the existing Advantor Systems without modifications.
