About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics Brand Name or Equal (BNOE) specification for a digital fundus camera system.
The procurement specifies a Nikon Optos Silverstone P200TxE camera (M5510) with a minimum quantity of one unit. The equipment must provide nine imaging modalities combined with ultra-wide field (UWF) imaging and integrated Swept Source OCT capability. Required image capture features include non-mydriatic operation with minimum 2mm pupil capability, confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (cSLO) imaging through cataracts, and 4-in-1 Color Depth Imaging. The UWF imaging modalities must include Color RG, Color RGB, Sensory (red-free), Choroidal, Autofluorescence Green and Blue, Fluorescein (FA), and Indocyanine Green (ICG), with optomap resolution of 20 μm standard or 14 μm plus, and exposure time under 0.4 seconds. OCT specifications require a 1050 nm Swept Source wavelength with axial resolution less than 7 microns, transverse resolution less than 20 microns, scan depth up to 2.5 mm, and A-scan rate up to 100k cycles per second, with scanning capabilities for line scans (6-23 mm width) and volume scans (3.5-9 mm height, 6.0-14 mm width). The equipment must include an adjustable table with space requirements of 887 mm width, 600 mm depth, and 725-1205 mm height, with unit dimensions of 23"D x 22"W x 28"H.
